This guy is a scammer and the proof is right on the front page of threads as of my post.
I'll let you kiddies find the actual proof though, like a scavenger hunt. The winner getting those ultra valuable MD Rep Points.
Go!

You found the right trail, but you haven't taken the last step to the coup de grace.
I'm personally enjoying the squirming and I think we might get a full on internet spaceships investment forum meltdown out of this, so I'm gonna let things continue to play out.

wow
The ability of this subforum to muck around with bs in nauseating detail never ceases to amaze me.
1) He accidentally posted this same thread with an alt, and then proceeded to erase it. 2) On looking at this alt's posting history, we find evidence that he has used this alt (and another one as well, but that's superfluous to our needs here) to build a false reputation as a trustworthy WH seller.
That's it. That's all there is to it and that's all you need.
Anyone who invests their money after such clear evidence of blatant deception in terms of public trust is an idiot (more so even than the average person who gives spacemoney to strangers on a scam-riddled forum). This is of course ignoring the fact that he has continued to deny the connection despite the blatant obviousness, thereby making it even worse.
I'd also add that you have a nice list of obvious alt investors here that you can use to root out other potential existing or future scams, but the general intelligence level of this forum doesn't give me much hope that this would be pursued.
I do appreciate that the OP seems committed to going balls deep on this one, and I hope that his ludicrous spinning and internet rage continue to amuse.

Originally by: RAW23 Taking stuff about alts too absolutely runs a serious risk of making it easy to grief someone by pretending to be their alt(s).
A quick look at the timing involved should dismiss any suspicion of such maliciousness in the vast majority of cases. The idea that someone would pretend to alt-post in preparation to assassinate someone's character on the off chance they decide to put themselves out as publicly trustworthy at some point in the future is beyond farcical.

Originally by: Tigerras But seriously, I'm a little worried. I get to join the bittervet clubvand found what elise was talking about...I feel a ritual involving a goat is in my near future...unless the md cult uses some other method.
Unfortunately for you, you've already jumped the gun with this character with your completely ridiculous auditing attempt, thereby ruining it forever, regardless of the advances you personally make in understanding the perverted subculture that is the MD subforum.
I would suggest creating a clean character ASAP and building a reasonable background for it while continuing to gain valuable understanding while posting on your current character. Then when you have achieved an adequate balancing of character cooking and MD knowledge, I would switch to the new clean character and build up the requisite reputation for whatever your longterm scam goal is.
Best of luck.

Originally by: RAW23 That's true of the investment alt posts but those are the least damning. The alt thread is both more damning and more plausibly faked since it came after he had already run a public bond. The chances of it being faked seem very small but I certainly wouldn't rule out the possibility that there are members of the eve community who would take great pleasure in doing something like that.
Of course.
Fortunately in this case we need only make the assumption that our theoretical saboteur cannot also read minds and/or the future, and we have our case.

Originally by: Tigerras Or I could just kee the character I started playing eve with and add this as one more spect to her.
Scamming doesn't interest me. I'm far more interested in exploring aspects of this game than I am in exploiting the trust of others.
I'll stop by to say "I told you so" when your bond or whatever you try in about 2 months or so fails miserably. Alternatively, if you've decided to take my advice and are just covering, then you're welcome.

Ah, the "compensated late payment in the face of adversity" repgrind bonus maneuver. That'll show all the doubters.
Too bad you were already proven to be a scammer. Don't let that stop the spectacle though, you go girl.
